You have received the GPS device in the mail and are ready to install it in your car.

What is the OBD port?
OBD (On-Board Diagnostic) is the connector the workshop uses during service. It's usually located between the steering wheel and the pedals, sometimes behind a cover. All newer cars are legally required to have such a port.
How to install the device
- Find the diagnostic port (OBD) in the car — often between the steering wheel and pedals, sometimes behind a cover.
- Plug the GPS device into the port. A small light turns on when the device gets power. If it doesn't light up, take the device out and plug it back in.
- Use the car as normal. The device has a built-in SIM card and sends the driving log to the mileage log automatically as soon as the car moves.
The device records date, time, start and stop address, and toll crossings — plus vehicle and driver if that has been set up. All data traffic is included in the license price.
The plug should stay in the car at all times. It can take a few minutes before the device starts logging the first time it's used.
