On Android, the phone's own battery saver can put apps to sleep to save power. This is different from the app's normal battery saving (that it rests when you're stationary and wakes up again when you drive — that's exactly how it should work).
Are trips not being logged, even though the app is installed, you're logged in, and it finds the tag? Then the phone may have put the app to sleep. Turn on the settings below, and Autogear Tracker will be able to work in the background as it should.
Here are three settings to check:
Battery usage
Turn on Battery usage to allow background activity.
Allow auto launch
Allow auto launch means the app starts up again if the phone is turned off and on.
Pause activity if unused
Pause activity if unused ensures the feature isn't turned off if you haven't opened the app for a while.
