With the SmartDok integration, you can sync projects and tools from SmartDok to Autogear, set projects on trips, create reports and export to SmartDok. You also get addresses and geofences from SmartDok into Autogear to automate projects on trips, and you can pull tools from SmartDok into Autogear to link them to Autogear Tag.
When should I integrate with SmartDok?
- When you want to link driving to projects for correct cost re-invoicing related to driving.
- When you want to link tools to Autogear Tag for more complete tool tracking.
- When you want project geofences set up to come directly into Autogear, so you can quickly automate projects linked to trips.
How to activate the integration
1. Create a user key in SmartDok
- Go to company settings – API administration.
- Create a new API key. You can use any name you like, e.g. «Autogear».

2. Add the integration in Autogear
Once you have the API key – a long string of numbers and letters – copy it and go into Autogear.
3. Go to Integrations and SmartDok
Paste the key at app.autogear.com/dashboard/smartdok and click Bruk.

5. Link drivers to users in the list for mileage allowance
Log in to Autogear via SmartDok. Once you're logged in to SmartDok, you can log straight into your Autogear mileage log without having to open a new tab.
