Trips: How to go through your trips

On the Trips page you'll find all the trips that have been registered — unconfirmed, confirmed and reported alike. Here you go through your trips, add information and confirm them for reporting.

When should I use Trips?

• When you need to go through and check that recent trips are correct.
• When you need to add extra information, such as project, purpose etc.
• When you need to confirm trips for further reporting.
• When you need an overview of all the mileage logs.

How to work in Trips

1. When you log in, only trips you're the driver on that haven't been confirmed yet will be shown.
2. Want to see more trips? Click Filter and select what you want shown.
3. Go through the trips one by one, or check them off to multi-edit and confirm several trips at once.
4. All confirmed trips remain on the Trips page, but are hidden by the filter. Change this to see confirmed trips, and undo if needed.

List and card view

There are two views for trips: list and card. You switch between them with the icon on the right at any time — it doesn't affect saved changes, and the view you had last time you were logged in is the one you'll see at the next login.

• List view — a compact and clear view of multiple trips. Use it when you want to quickly and efficiently edit several trips at once and don't need to see all the details.
• Card view — shows more details per trip than list view. Use it when you want to see the route for each individual trip you're processing.

Filter your trips

With filters you can filter for exactly the trips you want to see, giving you a faster and more specific overview. In the default view — when you log in — only trips where you're the driver, and which are not confirmed, are shown.

When should I use filter?

• When you need to find specific trips within a chosen period.
• When you need an overview of a selection of trips.
• When you want to find one or more selected trips based on time, length, cars etc.

How to use filter:

1. Click the Filter icon
2. Find the variables you want to filter by.
3. Click Apply filter. All trips matching the search will appear.

View uncorrected route

An uncorrected route is the route as logged in our GPS system, before safety settings and automations kick in when processing the trip.

This is useful if you do snow clearing or drive machinery covering the same stretch several times. Then it will come in as a single round trip in the mileage log, but by viewing the uncorrected trip you get to see the whole thing.

Here's how to see it:

1. Click the trip.
2. Expand the map.
3. Open Trip overview.
4. Check off Show uncorrected route.

View speeding violations

Speeding violations in Autogear is a tool for viewing driving behavior — where the speed limit is respected, exceeded somewhat, or exceeded significantly. Use it together with driver behavior to see your route and how well you keep to the speed limit.

Color codes:

• Green — at or under the limit
• Yellow — 1–10% over the speed limit
• Red — 11–20% over the speed limit

In a 50 zone that means yellow at 51–54 km/h and red at 55 km/h and above.
