As an administrator you have several reports available to pull out the figures you need — from payroll basis and company car tax to project, time, vehicle and emissions. Below you'll find an overview of each report and when you should use it.
The payroll report
With the payroll report you can pull out key figures tailored for payroll runs. The report includes driving (based on the mileage rate), add-ons such as passenger, trailer etc., and toll crossings.
When should I use the payroll report?
- When you need to pull out the payroll basis for taxation or payout.
Variable company car tax
When calculating tax related to private use of a company car, only key figures related to private driving need to be reported. That's why we've developed a dedicated report module that specifically pulls out these figures. See Variable company car tax.
Project report
The project report gives you key figures in PDF or Excel format, as well as a separate trip report in PDF containing all the details of the trips being reported on.
Occasional use
Occasional use shows the number of days private trips have been driven, per driver. The tax rules state that a company car can be used privately for up to 10 days, up to 1000 km, per fiscal year, without triggering taxation.
Time report
The time report gives you the invoicing basis you need for time spent driving or time linked to an address or project.
Vehicle report
The vehicle report lets you see the number of kilometers driven and time spent.
Emissions report
The emissions report in the Autogear driver's log is inspired by the rules and principles set by the GHG Protocol — an internationally recognized standard for setting up greenhouse gas accounting, with a focus on reporting being relevant, accurate, consistent, transparent and complete. This way it covers your need for emissions reporting.
My reports
With Autogear's report module you can build your own reports. The trip report lets you pull out reports on specific trips based on different variables. It differs from the report in Confirmed trips in that it's less personal, and it's not designed specifically for mileage allowance or taxation. The front page shows a summary, and the following pages show details of the trips, grouped per driver.
