Machines in Inventory have their own Machine Register tab. When the machine is linked, the tab shows everything the register knows about it, and the machine opens directly on this tab.
At the top of the tab
- Status of the link: Linked, Up to date, Out of date or Error — and when the data was last updated.
- Engine hours — the latest engine hours registered in the register, with date.
- Next expert inspection — shown in red when the deadline has passed.
- Last inspection status — the result of the previous expert inspection.
This is also where you set up expert inspection reminders.
Register data
Registration number, internal number, serial number, licence plate (NPRA), VIN, category, make and model, year, emission class, fuel, and whether the machine has a CE declaration of conformity.
Ownership
Which companies are registered as Owner, Machine user and Lessor, shown with organisation number.
Expert inspections
A table of all registered inspections: inspection date, next expert inspection, inspection company, highest fault, engine hours and report. As a general rule, earth-moving machines over 15 kW, cranes and trucks must be inspected every 12 months.
Inspection reports and CE documents
Completed inspection reports and the CE declaration of conformity are fetched automatically and added to the machine's document archive, marked "Fetched from Maskinregisteret". You find the document archive on the Overview tab.
How often is the data updated?
The data is updated automatically every morning at 06:00. If you need fresh data right away, click Refresh now on the tab. To update all machines, use Sync now on the integration page.
The fields from Maskinregisteret are marked "Source: Maskinregisteret" and can't be edited in Autogear. The integration only fetches data — Autogear sends nothing back, and your own fields in Inventory are never overwritten. You make changes to the register with Sentralregisteret or the machine's supplier.
Next expert inspection in the Inventory list
On the Machines tab in Inventory, the Next expert inspection column shows the deadline for each linked machine. The column can be sorted, and deadlines that have passed or are approaching are highlighted. On the All tab, the Expert inspection attention column alerts you when an inspection is overdue or due within 30 days.
The machine on the map and project
With GPS as an add-on service from Autogear (Asset, Engine or Tag), you also see the machine on the map alongside the cars, you get actual operating hours with Engine, and geofences automatically link usage to the right project. The engine hours from the register are only shown on the tab and don't go into Maskintimer.
