How to use the Driver app: daily tasks

In Autogear Driver, you have your trips right in your pocket. Here you can view and filter trips, edit details, approve trips, add trips manually, and set favorites. Reporting has its own article: Reporting.

View and filter trips

In the trip list, you can distinguish between unprocessed trips, work and private trips, and filter by projects and purposes. Each trip is shown as its own item with all the standard information: start and stop times, addresses, number of km, amount, purpose, driver and project.

Edit and approve trips

Tap a trip to view and change it:

• Set trip as work or private.
• Add purpose and link to project, as well as comments.
• View amount and delete the trip if needed.
• View all details and edit.
• Swipe right to confirm the trip — or confirm directly in the app.

Add a trip manually

You can add trips manually by tapping the menu in the top right and selecting Register a trip.

1. Tap the menu in the top right, and + Register trip.
2. Search for or select the address where the trip started.
3. Search for or select the address where the trip ended — the app calculates the km and route.
4. Review the route on the map and check that the information is correct.
5. Change the purpose by tapping the purple button 💼 Work to switch to 🏠 Private, or vice versa.
6. Fill in the desired information and tap Add.
7. The trip is now ready for processing.

Mark purposes, addresses and projects as favorites

Star-mark favorites in the list of purposes, so you can more easily find the ones you use most often.

1. Find a trip and tap Add purpose.
2. Browse or search for the purpose you want to mark.
3. Tap the star — the purpose jumps to the top of the list.

Next time you open a trip, your favorites are readily available at the top. You can mark as many as you like.

Add signature

You can add your signature, which is automatically added to the reports you submit.

1. Tap the Account icon on the right and the small pencil under your initials.
2. Tap the signature field, and draw your signature.

Push notifications

Trips are processed continuously, and a new trip can be flagged with a push notification. You control this under Notifications on your phone:

• Android: Settings → Notifications → App notifications → find Autogear Driver and change as desired.
• iPhone: Settings → Notifications → Autogear Driver → turn Allow notifications on/off.
