As a project manager, you need full control over the driving associated with your projects. With Autogear you can easily link each trip to a specific project. This gives you an overview of the costs for each project through a dedicated report.
Two ways to get projects onto trips
1. Automatically via the address list in Places
By linking a project to an address, trips that stop at the address will automatically have the project added.
Here's how:
- If the project isn't already added, do it here: https://app.autogear.com/dashboard/projects
- Add the project to the address.
2. Adding manually
Add a project to trips in the Inbox. It's as simple as this:

- ID – Optional to use. Example: 101
- Name – Required, fill in your own name. Example: Deliveries
- Valid from – Optional to use. If left blank, it applies indefinitely. If you limit it to a specific date, trips before this date will not be able to use this project.
- Valid to – Optional to use. If left blank, it applies indefinitely. If you limit it to a specific date, trips after this date will not be able to use this project.
- Project manager – Required to select.
- Project participants – Default value: all users on the account. By selecting users, only those selected will be able to see and use the project.
- Status – Default value: active project. If needed, you can close the project, after which it will no longer be visible or possible to use.
