My Profile

Updated Stefan Jacobsen

On My Profile you change your own details: name, e-mail, bank account number, addresses, language and password. What you enter here applies only to you, and only you can see and change it.

How to find My Profile

  1. Click your initials in the top right corner.
  2. Select My Profile.

The page is divided into five parts: Personal details, Driver ID, Home and workplace, Preferences and Security. Use the list on the left to jump between them.

Personal details

Here you change First name, Last name, E-mail and Bank account number.

  • E-mail is used to log in. If you change your e-mail address, you log in with the new address next time.
  • Bank account number is used for payment of mileage allowance.

When you have made a change, a bar appears at the bottom with Undo and Save. Click Save to keep your changes.

Driver ID

Here you can see whether you have a Driver ID tag linked to you. The tag means that trips are linked to you automatically when you drive.

Home and workplace

Here you enter your Home address and Regular workplace. When both are entered and the Home ↔ work = commute switch is on, Autogear automatically marks trips between the two places as commutes. See Commutes.

  1. Click the Search for an address … field and type the address.
  2. Select the address from the list. The address is saved immediately.
  3. Do the same for the other place.
Select the address from the search. An address that is only typed in as text has no position, and then it cannot be used to recognise trips.

Preferences

  • Language applies to both the website and e-mail from Autogear. The change takes effect the next time you log in.
  • Start page decides which page you land on when you log in: Mileage log (your trips) or Admin dashboard (overview of the whole account). The option is only shown to the account owner and administrators.

Security

If you log in with e-mail and password: Click Change password, type the new password twice and click Save password. The password must have at least 10 characters, at least one letter and at least one number.

If you log in with Google, Microsoft or Apple: You can switch to e-mail and password with Switch to password. This turns off login via Google, Microsoft or Apple.

"Your access is being prepared"

After you have accepted an invitation or switched account, you may see a bar at the top with the text Your access is being prepared. Autogear is then updating which trips you have access to. The trip list may be incomplete for a few minutes, and it updates by itself when the job is done.

Does it say that the preparation could not finish? The trip list may then be incomplete. If the problem continues, contact customer service.
