Inventory is where you manage everything you own and look after. You'll find it in the left-hand menu in the web app under Inventory.
Open Inventory
- Log in at app.autogear.com
- Click Inventory in the left-hand menu
- You now see all units registered on your account
If you already have vehicles, assets or tags on your account, these are already visible in Inventory — you don't need to add them again.
Explore the overview
At the top you see the tabs All, Vehicles, Tools, Machines and Other. The number in parentheses shows how many units are in each category.
Switch between list, card and map view using the icon in the top right.
Use the search field to quickly find a unit by name, ID or registration number.
Open a unit
Click a row in the list (or a card in card view) to open the unit's detail card.
Here you'll find five tabs:
- Overview — images, notes, documents, damage reports, leasing and service intervals
- Finances — purchase price, depreciation, costs and uploaded contracts
- User access — who has access to the unit and who is the default driver
- Dimensions — values for your company's own dimensions (created under Account)
- Licenses and units — active licenses and connected tracking units (GPS, Tag)
New vehicle?
Vehicles you already have appear automatically. When a new vehicle needs to be added, Autogear sets it up for you and configures the GPS correctly for the car model.
